Her first lead role was in 2009 movie Beautiful Kate. This film also gained her Award for Best Lead Actress. In 2013-2014 Sophie played in Once Upon a Time in Wonderland, where she starred as Alice. In summer 2014, Sophie played in The Returned, where she played one of the main roles, Lena.
