Sara grew up in Saudi Arabia but has traveled throughout the Middle East, Europe, and Africa with her parents. That became a nice base for her future career as an international investigative reporter. Carter earned her college degree in Journalism and Communications at the California State Polytechnic University-Pomona. She lives with her husband Martin Bailey. They got married in 2010 and they have two kids together.
