Ashley was earning her college degree at the University of Maryland and worked part-time as a bartender to make ends meet. Her first glimpse of fame came when she won Miss District of Columbia. Ashley married a rich real-estate multi-millionaire from Australia, Michael Darby. He’s 29 years older than Ashley but the marriage apparently works well so far.
